Kaili & Jack's Summer Wedding at The Ruins at Sassafras Museum in New Lebanon, NY

I'll be honest, I spent the whole week before Kaili and Jack's wedding watching the forecast. It had been raining and steamy for days, that thick summer humidity that just won't break. Then their morning came, and the sky cleared like it had been waiting for them. Perfect temperature, a soft breeze all afternoon, and the most stunning light from start to finish. Some days just feel like a gift, and this was one of them.

It didn't hurt that they picked one of our favorite places to shoot. The Ruins at Sassafras Museum in New Lebanon, NY, honestly transported us. All day it felt like we'd slipped away to a villa in the Italian countryside, the weathered stone, the open grounds, the golden light pooling across everything. And the nice part is how close it is to the city. It's a real gem of a Hudson Valley venue, and as a Hudson Valley and New York wedding photographer, I live for spaces with this much texture and mood.

And the celebration itself was pure joy. A live Dabke performance got everyone on their feet, the horns and DJ turned the reception into a proper party, and Kaili and Jack were beaming through all of it. These are the moments we do this for.
